Mark Bartholomew writes and teaches in the areas of intellectual property and law and technology, with an emphasis on copyright, trademarks, advertising regulation, and online privacy. His articles on these subjects have been published in the Minnesota La Review, Vanderbilt Law Review, the George Washington Law Review, the William & Mary Law Review, the Connecticut Law Review, and the Berkeley Technology Law Journal among others. His book Adcreep: The Case Against Modern Marketing was published by Stanford University Press in 2017.
Azalia Muchransyah is a filmmaker, writer, and scholar from Indonesia. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Media Study at University at Buffalo (SUNY), funded by the 2017 DIKTI Fulbright Scholarship. In 2019 she became a Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory Scholar at HASTAC, a Social Impact Fellow at University at Buffalo (SUNY), and a Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival Diversity Scholar at Ithaca College. Her research is on activist media, specifically for people living with HIV in Indonesian prison settings. Muchransyah's short films have been officially selected and screened in international festivals and academic conferences.
