Abstract
A project to catalog the computer files available through LEXIS, a full-text legal database, is described. The project, undertaken at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law Library, was funded by the commercial vendor of LEXIS, Mead Data Central, Inc. Special challenges of online remote access computer files, in general, and of the LEXIS files, in particular, are discussed, as are be applications of AACR2 revised Chapter 9 used in the project.
